Your Google review link takes a customer straight to the box where they leave you a review. No searching for your business. No wrong listing. Find your business below to get your link and a QR code. Want the full routine? See how to get Google reviews.
Find your business on Google
Start typing your business name and town, then pick it from the list.
What you type goes to Google to find your business. The link and QR code are made in your browser. We don't store either.
How it works
- Type your business name and town.
- Pick your business from Google's list.
- Copy your link, download the QR code or print a review card.
- Select Test the link and check it opens your review box.
The link uses your business's Place ID. That's the code Google gives every place on Maps.
Can't find your business?
Your business needs to be on Google Maps first. If it's not in the list:
- Try your business name exactly as it shows on Google.
- Add the town you're listed in.
- Still not there? Use the Google route below.
No profile yet? Here's how to set up your Google Business Profile.
The other way: get it from Google
If you manage your profile, Google gives you a review link itself.
- On a computer, sign in to the Google account that manages your business and go to your Business Profile.
- Select Read reviews.
- Select Get more reviews.
- Select Copy.
Google says the QR code can only be made in a computer browser. This page works on your phone too, and you don't need to sign in.
Where to use your link
Google suggests receipts, thank you emails and the end of a chat. For a trade that usually means:
- A text the day the job's finished.
- The bottom of your invoice.
- Your email signature.
- A review card with the QR code, left with the customer.
Ask every customer the same way. Google doesn't allow you to pick only the ones you think are happy. Don't offer anything in return for a review either. Our guide on how to get Google reviews covers what to say and when to send it. Reviews are one part of local SEO for trades.
Questions about Google review links
Is this free?
Yes. No sign-up and no email address.
Does the link ever stop working?
Google says Place IDs can change over time. So test your link every few months and make a new one if it stops opening your review box.
Can I use the QR code on my van or flyers?
Yes. Download it and send it to your printer or sign writer. Scan a proof with your phone before you print a batch.
Can I make a link for a client's business?
Yes, if it's a UK business. Search for their business and pick it. Check with them before you send it to their customers.
Will this help me get more reviews?
It makes leaving one easier. You still need to ask. In our view the habit that matters is asking every customer, every time.
Can I remove a bad review with this link?
No. The link only opens the box to leave a review. Here's what you can do about a review you think breaks Google's rules.
