Websites for plumbers

For plumbing and heating firms anywhere in the UK. A site with a page for every job you do. Easy to call from a phone. Owned by you.

TEMPLATE OR BUILT FOR YOU

A cheap template or a site built around your jobs

There are plenty of template sites for plumbers out there. Some come with a fixed number of pages. You pick a design, add your logo and you’re online.

That can be enough to look the part. The trouble is a plumber doesn’t do one job. Boiler servicing, new boilers, emergency call outs and gas safety certificates are all searched for separately. Each one is a different customer with a different problem. If your site has nowhere to talk about a job, you’ve got nothing to put in front of the people searching for it.

Anyone can get a basic website now. Some tools will build one for nothing. So can every other plumber in your town. What sets you apart is a site that shows each of your jobs properly and makes it easy to pick up the phone.

CALL OUTS AND BIGGER JOBS

Built for call outs and for bigger jobs

Someone with a burst pipe wants your number, fast. Someone planning a new bathroom wants to see your work first. A plumbing website has to do both.

  • Emergency pages

Your number at the top. One tap to call. The areas you cover and when you're available. Nothing in the way.

  • Planned work

Photos of finished jobs, your reviews, your Gas Safe registration and a short quote form.

If new boilers and bathrooms are the work you want more of, they get their own pages and sit at the front of the site.

WHAT IT NEEDS

What a plumbing website needs

A page for each service

Boilers, bathrooms, servicing, emergencies and landlord certificates. Each gets its own page and its own call button. A bathroom job and a broken boiler are different customers with different worries. If you’re a gas engineer, a heating engineer or you fit bathrooms, the site is built around that.

Gas Safe and other memberships

If you do gas work, customers look for Gas Safe registration. Anyone can check a registration number on the Gas Safe Register. So we show your number where people make up their minds, not buried in the footer.

If you belong to other schemes, they go alongside it. For example WaterSafe, CIPHE or a boiler maker’s installer scheme. Only the ones you actually have.

Pages for the towns you cover

Pick the towns you want more work from and we build a page for each. We’ll say if a town isn’t worth one.

Reviews on the page

Your Google reviews do a lot of the selling. We show them on the pages where customers are making up their minds.

Click to call and a short quote form

Your number sits at the top of every page and one tap rings you. For people who’d rather not call, there’s a short quote form.

Photos of your real jobs

Real photos of your own work. A finished bathroom or a tidy boiler install tells a customer more than any stock photo. Take a before and after on the job and send them over with one sentence on what you did.

WHAT GOOD LOOKS LIKE

What a good plumbing website looks like

Here’s a plumbing home page from the top down.

  • The header

Your phone number and, if you do gas work, your Gas Safe registration number.

  • The first screen

What you do, where you do it and a call button.

  • Your services

One tile for each job. Each links to its own page.

  • Reviews

    Your real Google reviews.

  • Photos

    Real jobs, not stock.

  • Areas you cover

Each town links to its own page.

  • A short quote form

  • The footer

Your business details, matching your Google profile exactly.

Each service page follows the same idea. The job in the heading, your number at the top, photos of that kind of job, a review that mentions it and a quote form at the bottom.

If your current site is missing a few of these, your free website review will show you which ones.

WHAT YOU GET

Web design for plumbers. What you get from us

What’s included

  • We write the words

You don't have to write a thing. We talk through your services and towns. Then we write it and you check it over.

  • A page for each service and town you want work from

Built around your jobs, not a set number of pages.

  • Hosting set up in your name

Your domain, your hosting, your site.

  • You own it outright

If you ever leave, your website goes with you.

  • No transfer fees on a monthly plan

If you move on, we won't charge you to take your site with you.

  • Edits included on a monthly plan

Small changes are covered by your monthly fee. You won't be quoted for an extra area page or new photos.

  • Tracking from day one

We track taps on your call button and form enquiries, so you can see what's coming in.

What affects the cost

  • How many services need their own page.
  • How many towns you want pages for.
  • Whether you want ongoing SEO alongside the site.

A site for one town and four services is a smaller job than one covering ten towns and every type of plumbing work. We’ll tell you the cost after your free website review, in writing.

OUR WORK

What we've built for trades

We built a new website for a plumbing and heating firm in Leicestershire. It has a page for each main service, so every type of job has its own place on the site.

“SearchHawk did a fantastic job designing and building my website from scratch. Quick turnaround time and kept informed throughout. Would definitely recommend”

Plumbing and heating client, Leicestershire. Google review, March 2026

HOW IT WORKS

How a build works

1. The conversation

We have a proper chat about your business, the towns you cover and the jobs you want more of. No script. Just questions.

2. The research

We look at your current site, what people search for in your area and what the other plumbers near you are doing. Then we plan a page for each job and town that’s worth it.

3. The build

We build the site. You check it and tell us what’s not right. We’ll need photos of your work and your feedback along the way.

4. Going live

Your site goes live on your own domain with tracking set up. We aim to have your new site live within six weeks.

How it works

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions about plumbing websites

Do I own the website? +
Yes. The website, the domain, the hosting and the words are all yours. Nobody can hold your site back if you decide to leave.
Can I edit it myself? +
Send us the change and we'll sort it. Small changes are covered on a monthly plan.
I already have a website. Do I need a new one? +
Not always. Put your company name in the review form and we'll find your site and go through it. If it's fine, we'll say so. If it's holding you back, we'll show you why.
How long does a build take? +
We aim to have your new site live within six weeks.
How much does a website for a plumber cost? +
It depends on how many services and towns need their own page, and whether you want SEO alongside it. We'll give you the cost in writing after your free website review.
Will it work on a phone? +
Yes. Every page is built for a phone screen first.
Will my website show on Google? +
A good website is the base. It's built so Google can understand your services and your towns. But a website on its own won't do all the work. Your Google profile, your reviews and ongoing SEO do the rest. We'll tell you honestly what your area needs. SEO for plumbers
Do you write the words? +
Yes. We write every page for you, for your trade and the customers you want. You check it over. We just need a chat about your services and towns first.
Do you work with plumbers outside the Midlands? +
Yes. Hinckley is our base, but we take on plumbing and heating firms anywhere in the UK.
